Staff Pharmacist Contract Position
A specialty compounding pharmacy in Troy, MI is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a contract position lasting 4 to 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension. This role focuses on verifying compounded medications and sterile injectables within a high-volume environment, ensuring safety and accuracy.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and review compounded medications and sterile injectable preparations
- Manage and support a high-volume compounding workflow
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain efficient operations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Pharmacy License
- Proven pharmacy experience, specifically with compounding and injectable medications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of sterile compounding regulations and practices
