VP, Agency Adoption & Engagement

Role Description

We're seeking an executive to own agency adoption and engagement for our commercial lines collaboration solutions across North America. This is a cross-business-unit mandate:

• Set the strategy and marshal the people, products, and investment across Cytora, EZLynx, Ivans, and Applied Epic.
• Activate the agency side of the network to ignite a network effect between agencies and carriers.
• Own the agency adoption and engagement outcome for Applied’s entire commercial lines collaboration portfolio across North America.
• Identify and marshal the resources to deliver it—securing the investment and aligning the teams across Applied’s business units.
• Set the adoption strategy across the portfolio, defining what strong adoption looks like.
• Personally lead the most strategic conversations with Chief Broking Officers and senior agency leaders.
• Define and scale the digital adoption motion, partnering with Applied’s Customer Experience team.
• Shape the book-roll strategy that drives market consolidation.
• Own the change-management strategy and build the scalable operating model.
• Travel as needed (up to 25%) for onsite workshops, executive sessions, and strategic business reviews.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial insurance—in agency/brokerage, carrier, distribution, or insurtech.
• Proven ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization.
• Gravitas to hold court with senior leaders at agencies.
• Strong executive communication and follow-through.
• Ability to operate at both altitudes: set strategy and build scalable process.
• Strong strategic intuition about the goals agencies pursue in placing commercial risk.
• Product and AI fluency.
• A cross-functional orchestrator who partners smoothly across Applied Systems business units.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree a plus.

• Targeted starting base salary in the United States ranges from $164,000 - $221,000.
