Job Description Overview Sign-on bonus available up to $30,000 and relocation up to $7,500. Schedule: 7pm-7am, Night Shift, Full-time Department: General Gastroenterology Location: Forsyth Medical Center – Winston Salem, NC 2nd GI is a newly remodeled 36-bed acute care unit specializing in gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and hepatobiliary disorders. The unit is fast-paced and emphasizes teamwork. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required. One year relevant experience preferred. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team, establishing an authentic, personalized relationship with the patient and their support system. The RN collaborates with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care promoting optimal health or supporting a peaceful death. The RN uses best scientific evidence and compassion to guide patients through their health journey and is accountable for management and provision of care following current policies and procedures. Collaborate across disciplines to develop patient care plans. Provide evidence-based nursing care and patient education. Document and evaluate patient progress and interventions. Advocate for patient safety and quality of care. Maintain professional knowledge and standards. Licensing Requirements RN nurses with an inactive, retired, or lapsed license for five years or more must complete a Board-approved refresher course within one year of completion to reactivate or reinstate the license. #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
