CNC Machinist - Mill/Lathe

Position Summary

We are searching for a qualified and dedicated CNC Machinist for a precision manufacturing partner in Beech Grove, IN. This role is focused on setup and run machinists, with the greatest current need on the mill side, though candidates with lathe experience will also be considered.

This is a critical manufacturing environment supporting high-importance customers. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and takes pride in doing the job right- not someone looking for a short stop.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes
Run production parts while maintaining tight tolerances
Make offsets and minor adjustments as needed
Interpret blueprints and GD&T
Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Complete work orders and inspection documentation accurately
Perform daily preventative maintenance on assigned machines
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of CNC machining experience (setup and run)
Experience with CNC Mills and/or Lathes
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
Comfortable with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and consistent attendance
Ability to follow directions and work independently

Preferred Qualifications

Mastercam or CAM programming exposure
Experience with Doosan, Okuma, or similar machines
Background in aerospace, defense, automotive, or medical manufacturing

Employment Type & Compensation

Type of Employment: This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire position
Compensation: $62,400.00 - $66,560.00 yearly, based on experience
Application Period: This position will remain open until filled

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
