Extension is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Menomonee Falls, WI
Overview
An established industrial mechanical contractor is seeking a 3D Mechanical Revit Designer / AutoCAD Drafter to join its growing team. This position will support the design and construction of complex industrial projects by developing accurate 3D models, mechanical layouts, piping plans, and construction drawings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D Revit models for industrial refrigeration systems
- Create equipment layouts, piping plans, sections, elevations, and isometric drawings
- Develop and update P&IDs using AutoCAD
- Coordinate designs with engineering, structural, electrical, and field teams
- Update drawings based on engineering markups, field conditions, and project changes
- Create fabrication and installation details for field personnel
- Maintain drafting standards, templates, and drawing libraries
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in drafting, design, or a related mechanical field
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience with mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, process piping, or industrial construction drawings
- Experience with Navisworks or industrial refrigeration systems is a plus
Salary & Schedule
- $60,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Full-time, direct hire
- Onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI
