As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with visitor screening, badge verification, and directions while maintaining professionalism and discretion in patient care environments.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, unusual activity, and policy violations, and by completing required logs, incident reports, and other assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes morgue areas.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
