Physical Therapist PRN Job Summary: Sterling County Nursing Home, a provider of short- and long-term nursing and rehabilitation services, is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to join our team in Sterling City, Texas. As a Physical Therapist PRN, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement personalized Physical Therapy plans of care for facility residents and short-term patients, while providing supervision and training to staff Physical Therapy Assistants. Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement the Physical Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients Provide supervision, as needed, for staff Physical Therapy Assistants in delivery of the PT plans of care Assist as needed with patient screenings for the need for Physical Therapy Communicate progress and any barriers toward PT goals with interdisciplinary team members Complete timely PT documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payor requirements Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each PT patient’s specific plan of care and recommendations for follow-up Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: Current Texas licensure as Physical Therapist Current CPR certification preferred Job Types: Part-time, PRN Benefits: Continuing education credits Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Health savings account License reimbursement Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Healthcare setting: Long term care Nursing home Outpatient Schedule: Choose your own hours Holidays Monday to Friday Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: Sterling City, TX 76951: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) License/Certification: Physical Therapy License (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
