Job Summary: The Class A Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering building materials to customer job sites. This position operates company vehicles, assists with loading and unloading materials, verifies orders for accurate and timely delivery, and provides excellent customer service. The Class A Driver must follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude with customers and team members. Key Responsibilities: Learn and understand company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy. Provide excellent customer service to all clients. Load trucks according to the sales invoice and list of materials. Organize and secure loads to ensure safe and efficient transport. Verify accuracy of loads with the yard manager before departure. Deliver and unload materials at customer job sites, ensuring satisfaction. Follow delivery instructions and ensure timely deliveries. Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation. Record delivery information on the sales invoice and communicate customer messages from the job site. Obey all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating company trucks and forklifts, including wearing seat belts at all times. Adhere to yard loading and security procedures. Accurately process merchandise returns with a credit memo. Address and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mead Lumber
