Tester

The Tester is responsible for thoroughly evaluating software products to ensure they meet business standards and functional requirements. This role involves isolating, reproducing, and tracking defects, verifying fixes, and developing test data and procedures to support software quality. The Tester works with limited guidance, relying on experience and knowledge of administrative processes, organizational practices, software development cycles, and quality assurance methodologies. The position requires sound judgment in prioritizing tasks and interpreting processes to support continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Evaluate software products to ensure alignment with business standards and functional requirements. Isolate, reproduce, and track defects, and verify implemented fixes. Develop test data and procedures to ensure software meets organizational standards and end-user needs. Support administrative, operational, and customer-focused activities requiring independent judgment and initiative. Apply established quality assurance methodologies throughout the software development cycle. Prioritize incoming requests and adapt processes and techniques as needed to accomplish tasks effectively. Required Qualifications High School Diploma. Technical experience in software testing or related areas. Experience identifying, reproducing, and tracking software defects. Experience developing test data and procedures. Strong commitment to supporting an organization focused on continuously improving customer experiences.
