Entry Level AccountantEmployer: Boswell Pharmacy ServicesPosition: Entry Level AccountantBasic Requirements: Associate's Degree (Required)Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Knowledge and basic understanding of QuickBooksSummary/Job Description: Analytical and organizational skills with the ability to execute daily accounting operations; Financial statement preparation and analysis with subsequent reporting to management; Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts, as well as performing accounts payable and accounts receivable activitiesDetailed Responsibilities:Perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions, review vendor statements and ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements have been received and paid accurately and in accordance with the department's policies and proceduresPrepare, verify, and enter journal entries to the general ledger, including but not limited to daily internal entries and third-party payable/receivable entriesResponsible for daily/monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts as well as performing general account analysisProcess payables and receivables through the Quick Books accounting system and Liberty point of sales systemMaintain accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting and internal control procedures and practicesResponsible for preparing and assisting in the preparation of financial reports as assignedScan and file all supporting documentationPrimary contact for vendors for status of payments and purchase ordersMaintain Excel spreadsheets related to payables, receivables, accruals, and equipmentAssume responsibility for duties as required or assigned
