As a Security Guard Screening Specialist in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen people and/or items, and support smooth daily operations. This role combines visible presence, routine activity, and strong customer service to help address security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or team members while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, personal property, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping-related documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas of the location and perimeter, with job duties and working conditions varying by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
