Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to join their team. As a Shipping Supervisor, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting warehouse and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Location: Beaumont, Texas

Pay Range: $90000 - $100000

What's the Job?

• Coordinate rail, truck, and barge shipments to ensure timely delivery of products in compliance with ICC regulations.
• Oversee warehouse inventory control, including cycle counts and documentation accuracy.
• Supervise and train a team of 21 hourly union employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and develop effective communication channels with sales, customers, and internal departments.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and operational efficiency within the shipping department.

What's Needed?

• Two to three years of experience in shipping, delivery, and inventory management.
• Proficiency with computer systems, record-keeping, and inventory control processes.
• Knowledge of ICC regulations and shipment requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple logistics activities and manage team performance.
