Performs skilled work of considerable difficulty involving repairing, overhauling and maintenance of diesel engines and a variety of automotive, construction and related equipment Work involves diagnosing malfunctions in light and heavy motorized equipment, removing and replacing or rebuilding worn or broken parts, and maintaining records of work performed. Employee is also responsible for maintaining inventories of replacement parts and supplies; and related work as required. High School Diploma or G.E.D.* A valid driver's license.* Five (5) years of full-time experience as a journeyman diesel mechanic performing diesel engine repair.
