Outpatient Counselor

Position Summary The Outpatient Counselor position involves primary responsibility for the well‑being and attainment of treatment goals of assigned patients. This includes assessment, treatment planning, referrals, and discharge planning. The Outpatient Counselor is responsible for the provision of group and individual counseling and maintaining current required documentation. Qualifications MUST be credentialed by the State of Louisiana, and have active status as one of the following: PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW or LMFT. Three years experience in Outpatient Counseling preferred. Basic knowledge of computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred Must be able to read, write, and speak English Certifications BLS and CPI certification required (if not CPI certified upon employment, must acquire within 90 days of employment and maintain throughout employment) Whole Health Treatment Center, a division of Intensive Specialty Hospital, provides compassionate and effective care to individuals struggling with substance abuse.
