Overview Senior Product Development Engineer/Scientist (Malden, MA). Responsibilities Develop functional materials, test methods, and implementation solutions for environmental protection of automotive and consumer electronics Maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables related to product launch strategy Communicate technical advances and project strategy to a global team of technical and sales personnel Work autonomously on open-ended projects, from new coating development to novel application techniques Expand Actnano’s IP portfolio by innovating on coatings and application technology Serve as the subject matter expert on coatings and participate in developing customer implementation strategies Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables for product launches Mentor technicians and co-ops on conducting experiments for coating development International and domestic travel may be required Qualifications Master’s or doctorate in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related technical field Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or German preferred but not required Ability to legally work in the US Location and Compensation Location: Malden, MA (accessible via the Orange Line).
