Liberty Excavator's Inc. is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Camp Hill, PA. We are seeking someone who will bring their experience, energy, passion to serve, and terrific communication skills to help us continue to build one of the leading Site Development companies in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a background in Human Resources, Recruiting/New Hire processing, benefits administration, and have experience in the construction industry. This position has direct contact with all current employees as well as potential employees so applicants should be patient, understanding, enthusiastic, and motivated to help others. Position Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for tracking applications in Viewpoint.
• Responsible for utilizing recruitment tools/tactics to find and select qualified candidates.
• Responsible for coordinating interviews, job offers, background checks, and conducting new-employee orientations.
• Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit and enrollment information to employees. Helps oversee annual open enrollment.
• Maintains affirmative action and Veterans data files in Viewpoint to conform to such regulations. Tracks and monitors all leaves of absences to include disability and FMLA.
• Performs new hire background checks.
• Performs annual background checks.
• Creates and maintains personnel files in Viewpoint and HCSS.
• Processes employment correspondence as needed to include unemployment claims and employee requests for information.
• Responsible for coordination of company's random non-D.O.T. drug/alcohol testing program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Position requires a BA/BS degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
• Experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position may be substituted for education.

Physical Skills and Abilities:

• The position may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit
• other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of
• 10 - 25 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to
• grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed indoors and outdoors with some potential for exposure to
• safety and health hazards related site excavation/utility work. May periodically travel to company
• jobsites.
