HRIS Analyst

Position provides support throughout the organization by aligning HR Information Systems (HRIS) with organizational and department priorities. Very knowledgeable with Workday. Preferably in the Payroll or Absence space, but a good working knowledge and configuration of the system is needed. Responsible for system design, maintenance, security, integration, testing, and collection and retrieval of employee information. Works with various department managers to evaluate system needs and capabilities and may initiate and/or lead system modifications to support changing demands. Develop, execute, and provide reporting for management and staff. Analyst will perform duties across all levels and all divisions of the organization including retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate office. Analyst will work on or lead a cross-functional project team. Responsible for the storage, security, maintenance, and retrieval of all employee's confidential information.

Routinely participates in and leads special, often large project work to support department objectives. Ability to set clear roles and responsibilities of the team while insuring that any solutions developed keeps the customer in mind. Designs and allocates work in a way that leverages team strengths. Ensures any business requirements are properly translated and satisfied in functional requirements and design. Assist with system design and data migration reviews as needed. Lead a team with system upgrades or patches and participate in the review, testing and migration into production. Primarily supports the absence, time off, compensation and HCM modules but will also assist with other modules as needed. Will be a backup for Sr HRIS Analyst and HRIS Analyst roles. Project assignment may temporarily supersede many or all other job duties.

Performs duties of system administrator to maintain security, maintenance and integrity of all HR systems with the Human Resource department. Maintains documentation as required by internal and external practices/policies for all systems. Routinely partners with other business units and seeks new perspectives to help make informed decisions on inquiries and system related issues.

Seek to understand while developing, testing and delivering ad-hoc and recurring reports. Ensure distribution to customers is appropriate and completed timely. Lead, coordinate and develop meaningful dashboards and other HR analytic reports that align with the company mission and vision. Assist and maintain the design of HR procedures and processes relating to information systems.

Maintains high-quality relationship with internal and external customers with regards to HR data and pull data due to legal, business needs or auditing requests. Provide innovative ways to complete mass data entry projects and/or assistance with data conversion. Keeps organizational structures up-to-date and performs audits to ensure system is current and accurate.
