Job Details Job Category: Medical Imaging Supervisor: Tabitha Sabater Requisition Number: RADIO001368 Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Evening/Nights Hours Per Week: 32-hour/week Hiring Range: $29.89‑$39.99 per hour (actual compensation based on experience and other factors permitted by law) Location: Amsterdam, NY 12010, USA Responsibilities Prepares and positions patients for imaging and selects exposure factors accurately. Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Observes patient during procedure, reports abnormal activity, and monitors protocols to recommend updates or refinements as warranted. Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines, preventing unnecessary radiation exposure. Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS, including correct lead markers and patient data/history. Ensures equipment functions properly; reports potential problems or malfunctions to appropriate personnel and locks/tags out equipment as appropriate. Assists in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and other spaces. Education High school diploma or GED required. Required Credentials BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire date or job transfer date. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the New York Department of Health obtained within 180 days of hire date or job transfer date.
