About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of promoting equity, social justice, and the empowerment of women and girls. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of organizational operations, including strategic planning, fundraising, program development, financial management, advocacy, and staff leadership. This role demands a visionary leader who can drive the organization's strategic plan, ensure long-term sustainability, and foster a culture of equity, inclusion, and accountability. The CEO will also serve as the primary spokesperson and advocate, building community partnerships and advancing programs that align with the company's mission. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree or equivalent executive experience welcomed. A strong commitment to racial equity, gender justice, and the empowerment of diverse communities is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fund development, strong financial acumen, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in nonprofit management, board governance, and leading through organizational change is also required. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with the local region, experience in multilingual community service, and proficiency in Spanish. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors and the Director of People and Culture to ensure the organization's values are reflected in its culture and to enhance the employee experience.
