Skilled Carpenter NeededWe are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including the ability to read blueprints and perform installations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in all projects.DutiesRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.Assemble and install structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials.Perform electrical work as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Plumb and install fixtures accurately to meet design specifications.Apply stucco finishes to surfaces as required for aesthetic purposes.Undertake maintenance person tasks that may include repairs and maintenance of structures.Install flooring materials with precision, ensuring durability and quality.Lift heavy materials safely, adhering to best practices for physical safety on the job site.Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds RelationshipsExperienceProven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.Proficiency in blueprint reading is essential for this position.Familiarity with various carpentry techniques including assembly, installation, electrical work, plumbing, stucco application, and fixture installation is highly desirable.Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments is required.A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship is crucial for success in this role.Join our team of dedicated professionals where your skills will be valued, and your contributions will make a difference!Compensation Range $25/hr - $28hrThe work environment and requirements described below are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.The Physical Demands of the Job:This is a physically demanding role on an active construction site. You must be able to work safely around heavy equipment and construction traffic. You must be able to frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds alone, and use team-lifting techniques for anything heavier. Long periods of continual standing or walking are required, along with the ability to bend, climb, kneel, and reach. Good balance and dexterity are crucial, as you will be working safely at various heights and in tight spaces.You'll need visual acuity to operate equipment and spot hazards, and the ability to hear with or without assistance to understand instructions in noisy environments.Your Work Environment on the Site:You'll regularly work outdoors and may be exposed to the elements—be it heat, cold, rain, snow, or wind. The work environment frequently involves exposure to moving mechanical equipment, high noise levels, dust, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, and potential electrical hazards.
