Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

JOB HIGHLIGHTS We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care. Responsibilities Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager Communicating effectively with residents and staff Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines Bonus Opportunities Perfect attendance bonus—$75 for full-time (up to a $1,950 annual benefit) and $35 for part-time (up to a $910 annual benefit) Shift differential—$1+ per hour depending on location and shift assignment Employee referrals Employee of the month/year Resident tour (move-in) Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision offerings (for benefit eligible associates) Company Paid Life Insurance coverage in the amount of $15,000 Voluntary benefits including: Hospital Indemnity, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness, legal/Identify Theft, and Disability insurance (for benefit eligible associates) 401(k) program including discretionary company match Competitive Paid Time Off (for full-time associates) Holiday pay Discretionary Scholarship program Annual performance evaluations/raises Requirements Requires a current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state Prefers at least 1 year of prior relevant experience Prefers previous supervisory experience, preferably in senior living Legend Senior Living is a drug free workplace and drug screening will be conducted at the company’s discretion.
