Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Intensive Care Unit-I, Full Time Night Location: Clara Maass Medical Center, 1 CLARA MAASS DRIVE, BELLEVILLE, NJ 07109 Shift: Night (7:00 pm – 7:30 am) Pay Range: $47.62–$56.39 per hour Job Overview Located in Belleville, Clara Maass Medical Center is a facility of RWJBarnabas Health that provides a complete continuum of care to residents of northern New Jersey. With over 700 physicians and 2,100 employees, the Medical Center offers advanced treatment for a wide variety of medical conditions and includes centers for advanced wound care, sleep disorders, bariatrics, orthopedics, cardiac services, cancer care, and emergency services. In 2017, a state‑of‑the‑art Campus expansion added a 32‑bed Intensive Care Unit among other enhancements. The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized, age‑specific professional care to patients within the Post Intensive Care Unit. The RN supports the philosophy, objectives, mission, and vision of the Department of Nursing and practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements, and other regulatory agencies. The RN participates in patient teaching, discharge planning, and unit performance‑improvement activities. Qualifications – Required Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Associate degree in nursing Obtain ACLS Certification within six (6) months of hire Qualifications – Preferred Bachelor's degree in nursing Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills Minimum two (2) years RN experience working in Critical Care or Telemetry Certifications and Licenses Required Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement BLS certification through American Heart Association Scheduling Requirements Night Shift – 7:00 pm – 7:30 am Full Time Every other weekend required; weekday schedule varies by department needs Essential Functions Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements, and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning and unit performance improvement evaluation activities.
