Experienced Bilingual Veterinary Receptionist

Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park is hiring an experienced bilingual veterinary receptionist. This full-time position offers a salary of $18 - $20 per hour, based on experience, and a schedule of weekdays from 10 am to 7 pm with occasional Saturday shifts.

What our veterinary receptionists do includes welcoming clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion, assisting clients with patient check-in and check-out, answering phones and providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments and helping coordinate an efficient daily workflow, communicating clearly with clients in both English and Spanish, helping clients understand treatment plans, recommendations, and next steps, maintaining accurate client and patient information in the medical record, processing invoices and collecting payments, coordinating communication between clients and the veterinary team, handling client questions and concerns calmly and professionally, maintaining an organized, efficient, and welcoming front desk, and collaborating with doctors, technicians, and teammates to help the hospital run smoothly.

What you'll bring includes previous veterinary or medical office experience, fluency in both English and Spanish, strong customer service and communication skills, a friendly, professional, and compassionate approach, ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment, confidence communicating with clients in person and over the phone, ability to remain calm and professional during stressful or emotional situations, strong attention to detail and follow-through, comfort working with clients, pets, and the veterinary team, reliability and availability to work the closing shift, experience with ezyVet is helpful but not required, and a positive, collaborative, team-first mindset.
