Job Title: Sheet Metal Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Assembly Technician to join our team, focusing on the assembly of sheet metal parts for helicopter ventilation systems. This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for growth within our company.

Responsibilities

• Develop assemblies for aircraft including blower motor applications for heat exchangers, air conditioning compressor assemblies, heat exchanger plenum assemblies, and environmental control systems.
• Assist with guiding development projects through the FAA certification process.
• Prototype and test assemblies, while improving upon existing products.
• Create SolidWorks models of parts and assemblies.

Essential Skills

• Experience in batch production of sheet metal assemblies.
• Proficiency in assembly and mechanical processes.
• Ability to operate machinery related to sheet metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of DC brushless motors and controllers.
• Experience with SolidWorks modeling.
• Prototyping skills for aircraft assemblies.
• Some experience with composite vacuum bagging.
• Understanding of DC electrical circuits.
• Skill in sheet metal fabrication and blueprint reading.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saginaw, TX.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Saginaw,TX.
