A successful applicant will have the acumen to swiftly align NextEra’s broad array of products and services with the specific needs of each customer, thereby unlocking business potential.This role will focus on power utility and energy retailer customers with initial emphasis on PJM markets, spanning strategic market assessment and analysis of customer resource plans and future needs, customer outreach and relationship building, co-development and delivery of PPA and build transfer proposals, and an active role in long term contract negotiations. Potential technology product scope includes battery storage, solar, wind, gas and nuclear energy.Experience with at least one (preferably more) of the following is preferred: PPAs or build transfer agreements; technologies including battery storage, solar, wind, gas and nuclear energy; interaction with power utilities and energy retailers in an ISO/RTO market; and familiarity with PJM market dynamics.This role could be remote within the central or eastern US, or based in NextEra’s HQ offices in Juno Beach, FL. This position will require the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.Job OverviewEmployees in this role will lead significant origination efforts for NextEra Energy.
