What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience Required: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
• License & Certifications: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice and BLS (American Heart Association) required (with ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit/service).
• Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred).

Clinical & Unit Overview

• Role Focus: Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
• Floating & On-Call: May be required to float to other departments within the scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs, and may be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
