The bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Azur’s standard drink recipes. The bartender is also responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all our guests. Each bartender’s primary objective is to show our guests such a marvelous time that they will want to return again and again.

Knowledge & Requirements:

• Experienced and comfortable bartending in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
• Knowledgeable in craft cocktail preparation (juices, syrups, + modifiers are all made in-house)
• Detail-oriented and works proactively with a sense of urgency, while possessing excellent communication skills
• Our ideal applicants will possess at least 1 year of experience, as a bartender or server in a restaurant, bar or resort environment.
• Recipients of this position must have an established work record, with the demonstrated ability to have held a position with a previous employer for at least 1 full year.
• Recipients must have the willingness to accept detailed structures, protocols, and procedures that are utilized by Azur to ensure informed, consistent, and quality-associated guest interactions.
• Recipients of this position must have knowledge of wine and various types of liquors.
• The bartending recipient will be responsible for providing timely service by making cocktails and specialty drinks for guests
• Recipients of this position will be guest services driven, detail-oriented, warm, and amiable. Must have the sincere desire to serve and please our guests, along with an attention to detail.
• Must have an understanding of service etiquette for table service, which will include the proper methods and formalities for properly serving and clearing dining guests.
• Efficiency, intelligence, and speed are paramount. Hours may vary; full-time applicants with wide-ranging schedule flexibility will be given first consideration for this position.
• While prior experience is beneficial, we are more than willing to provide training for the suitable individual.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve food at the bar
• Assess guest's needs and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Be a team player

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Good  knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
