We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who enjoys helping clients succeed through tax planning, accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. What You'll Do As a Senior Accountant, you'll play an important role in providing high-quality service to our clients by: * Preparing federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, S corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts. * Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping engagements. * Preparing compiled and internally prepared financial statements. * Assisting clients with year-round tax planning and compliance. * Responding to IRS and state tax notices and correspondence. * Representing clients before the IRS when appropriate. * Assisting clients with accounting questions and business operations. * Working with both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. * Maintaining accurate electronic workpapers and client documentation. * Collaborating with team members to ensure exceptional client service. Qualifications Required * Active Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. * Three to five years of public accounting or professional tax preparation experience. * Experience preparing individual and business income tax returns. * Experience in performing bookkeeping and preparing financial statements. * Strong knowledge of federal and Ohio tax law; and IRS procedures. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills * Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines. * Commitment to providing exceptional client service. Preferred * Experience preparing fiduciary (estate and trust) income tax returns. * Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. * Experience using UltraTax CS or similar professional tax software. * Experience with tax planning and client advisory services. * Experience with Microsoft Power Point. * Payroll tax and payroll processing experience.
