Shipping And Receiving SpecialistThe primary purpose of the Shipping and Receiving Specialist is to verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment by performing the essential job requirements to quality and productivity standards.Pay is $17/hour. Flexible Scheduling! Late afternoon/evening availability. Typical shifts would be 3pm-8pm Monday through Friday. Flexible start time/end time.We offer great “in-house” benefits including discounted services, an employee vehicle purchase program and paid time off to volunteer.Responsibilities include:Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipmentsAssist shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in merchandise and match purchase orders to sales ordersRead customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shippedFill requisitions, work orders, or requests for parts, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated areasAssist in counting of physical inventory, movement of inventory and organization of shipping and receiving areaPerform other duties as assigned to ensure proper productivity of Parts departmentWillingness to work late nights when needed during winter/busy monthsQualifications include:Ability to collaborate, cooperate, interpret and communicate informationEfficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel)Excellent customer service skillsKnowledge and ability to make decisionsUnderstanding of proper packaging methodsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
