The Small Engine Mechanic will work primarily on lawn mowers and garden equipment within a shop-based environment. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role involves performing diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and tune-ups to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities

• Perform engine repair and maintenance on small engines
• Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Replace parts and carry out tune-ups for optimal performance
• Conduct safety checks and equipment testing
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely
• Communicate issues and repair progress to the Service Manager

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in small engine repair
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of small engine repair and mechanical diagnostics
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
