What Youll Do

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the roadway grading crew.
• Establish work plans to meet production goals and project schedules.
• Provide hands-on leadership and assist crew members to maintain workflow.
• Interpret and implement project plans, drawings, specifications, and survey data.
• Set, verify, and maintain accurate grades, slopes, and elevations.
• Enforce company safety policies and applicable OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Complete and submit required electronic documentation, including daily reports.
• Collaborate professionally with project representatives, inspectors, and clients.

• Proven experience in roadway, site, or earthwork grading operations.
• Strong working knowledge of grading techniques, specifications, and production requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making ability in field environments.
• Experience communicating with Superintendents and project stakeholders.
• Valid drivers license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Basic computer proficiency with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying outdoor conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights/weekends, and travel within the operational area.
