Redstone Recovery Specialist ISchedule: Full-TimeThe Redstone Recovery Specialist I (RRS I) provides direct, patient-centered support to individuals receiving treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Leveraging lived experience and recovery-oriented principles, this role is responsible for building therapeutic rapport, promoting engagement in treatment, and modeling healthy recovery behaviors. The RRS I supports the multidisciplinary care team by reinforcing treatment plans, assisting with patient needs, and facilitating communication between patients, families, and clinical staff. This position requires a strong understanding of the disease model of addiction, relapse prevention strategies, and the ability to effectively manage and de-escalate emotionally charged situations.Why Join Our TeamCompetitive pay with opportunities for growthFlexible scheduling optionsSupportive leadership and team-oriented cultureMeaningful role with direct patient impactTraining and advancement opportunities within healthcare operationsKey Responsibilities:Establish and maintain supportive, professional relationships with patients throughout the treatment continuumProvide encouragement, accountability, and recovery-based guidance using lived experience when appropriateSupport patients in adhering to individualized treatment plansAssist in de-escalating crisis situations using appropriate intervention techniquesServe as a liaison between patients, families, and the clinical team to ensure clear, consistent communicationCollaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support coordinated, patient-centered careAssist case management with discharge planning and continuity of care effortsCommunicate effectively with patients and families regarding expectations, program structure, and treatment progressionRespond to incoming inquiries (calls, emails) related to admissions in a timely and professional mannerProvide accurate information to prospective patients and families regarding services, expectations, and next stepsSupport the admissions workflow by identifying opportunities to improve responsiveness, efficiency, and conversion outcomesMaintain current knowledge of all Redstone program offerings and servicesMaintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of patient interactions and follow-up activitiesConduct post-discharge follow-up and document outcomes to support continuity and recovery trackingEnsure all documentation meets organizational and regulatory standardsAssist with basic patient care needs as appropriate within scopePrepare and serve meals and supplemental nourishment in accordance with dietary and safety guidelinesMaintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for patientsAddress patient and family concerns in a professional and empathetic mannerEscalate issues as appropriate to leadership or clinical staffPromote a positive patient experience aligned with organizational standardsDemonstrate professionalism, accountability, and adherence to organizational policiesMaintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and applicable regulationsParticipate in ongoing training and development related to behavioral health and recovery supportQualifications:Education: High School diploma or equivalent.Licenses/Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS)Food Handler CertificationExperience:Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferredWorking knowledge of behavioral health conditions and addiction recovery principlesDemonstrated ability to manage high-stress and emotionally complex situationsEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsAbility to apply basic behavioral health and recovery support techniquesProficiency in basic computer applications (Email, Microsoft Word, Excel) #J-18808-Ljbffr
