Entry-Level QA/QC InspectorKilgore Industries is a full-service commercial MEP contractor specializing in the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for large-scale construction projects. We are seeking motivated new graduates who want to start their careers in construction quality control.The Entry-Level QA/QC Inspector will support Kilgore Industries' quality assurance and quality control efforts across commercial MEP projects in the Dallas area. This role is designed for recent or soon-to-graduate Texas A&M students who are detail-oriented, eager to learn MEP construction, and comfortable working on active job sites.Key Responsibilities:Conduct inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installationsVerify installations meet project specifications, construction drawings, and applicable codesDocument deficiencies, track corrective actions, and update QA/QC logsSupport equipment startup, functional testing, and MEP commissioning processesAssist with reviewing drawings, submittals, and specificationsWork closely with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to resolve quality issuesMaintain accurate documentation for project closeout and client turnover packagesAdhere to company and site safety procedures at all timesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify installation issuesInterest in MEP systems and commercial constructionGood communication and documentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn construction software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk)Ability to travel for work when neededPreferred (Not Required):Internship or project experience with MEP systems, commercial construction, or building technologiesAbility to read mechanical, electrical, or plumbing drawingsFamiliarity with standards such as NEC, IMC, IPC, or SMACNAWhat We Offer:Hands-on training in MEP quality inspection and commissioningMentorship from senior QA/QC team members and project leadersCompetitive salary and benefits packageClear career paths into QA/QC, project management, and field leadershipExperience on major commercial construction projects and exposure to industry-leading practicesOpportunities for certification and professional development
