Starting Pay: $ 13.73 - $ 20.75 /hour ; Depending on community, experien ce , program, and shift.

The Personal Care Aide (PCA) assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing and toileting, to ensure good hygiene, grooming and self-esteem, serves meals or monitors eating/drinking, accompanies residents to various activities, assists with admission, discharges and transfers of residents to promote continuity of care.

Requirements for the Personal Care Aide (PCA ) :

• Be a minimum of 18 years of age .
• Have a high school diploma or GED or provide documentation that the GED or high school diploma will be received within 6 months of hire .
• Be able to effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members .
