Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at our critical access hospital, where you will be at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients. You will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care within the general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population while utilizing the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions. Our priority is holistic care, ensuring that each patient's physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met with compassion and proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients.
• Coordinate patient care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Utilize critical thinking and the Nursing Process for patient assessments and care planning.
• Ensure holistic care addressing physiological, spiritual, and psychosocial needs.
• Lead nursing staff in meeting the unique needs of patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience required.
• Preference for candidates with Meditech experience.
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
