Hall Industries, Inc. is currently looking for a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT for our Corporate Office located in Ellwood City, PA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage the monthly closing process, including preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.

· Perform monthly budget-to-actual analysis and explain significant variances.

· Support the Controller in overseeing the company’s accounting and financial-reporting functions.

· Review accounts payable transactions and monitor delinquent accounts receivable.

· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow analysis, and other financial-planning activities.

· Maintain and review cost-accounting records, including inventory, work in process, job costs, and manufacturing variances.

· Help ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal accounting and reporting requirements.

· Develop and maintain effective accounting procedures and internal controls.

· Perform periodic internal reviews, evaluate findings, and recommend corrective actions.

· Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.

· Assist with tax planning, tax filings, and other compliance-related matters.

· Provide guidance, training, and support to accounting personnel.

· Recommend process improvements to increase the accuracy and efficiency of the accounting department.

· Prepare financial analyses and reports requested by management.

· Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting required.

· Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

· Strong computer skills with all MS Office products.

· Experience with Cost Accounting
