ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ICU unit accommodates 24 beds with a diverse patient population. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2.
• Perform critical procedures including rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, and arterial line placements.
• Monitor and manage patients utilizing ventilators, vasopressors, and CRRT.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience; 1 year of strong experience may be considered.
• Valid ACLS certification required.
• Ability to float to PCU or serve as a sitter as needed.
