Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Responsibilities

Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in educating patients and their families about therapeutic processes and goals.
Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or the ability to obtain one.
Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
