The Licensed Psychotherapist, will support the work of Therapeutic Sanctuary Counseling & Play Therapy Center, Therapeutic Sanctuary Inc., and provide exceptional clinical psychotherapy to clients. Specific responsibilities include:

Duties

• Provide clinical psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults with traumatic experience
• Diagnose and provide evidence-based interventions for various mental health symptoms
• Complete treatment plan, and assessments
• Trained and or knowledgeable in the following interventions: Play Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI)
• Respond to all client and collateral communications in a timely manner
• Attend all required trainings and staff meetings
• Excellent organizational skills, and documentation
• Maintain client electronic charts and ensure all documentation is current and accurate
• Sanitize and maintain the appearance of the waiting room, playroom, and personal work area
• Must exhibit professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• Must be proficient in Microsoft suites, internet usage

Minimum Required Education

• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-P)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT-P)

Experience

• Minimum of 6 months post-licensure experience
