Human Resources Coordinator

Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center – Dyersburg, TN

Full-Time | Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care

 

Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center  is a seeking a compassionate, organized, and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our team in Dyersburg, Tennessee. As the HR Coordinator, you will help create a positive employee experience from recruitment to onboarding through ongoing employee support and engagement.

 

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in Human Resources, healthcare or related field preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee biweekly payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance

• Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and support hiring efforts

• Conduct new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee paperwork

• Help coordinate employee events, recognition programs, and facility initiatives

• Support and guide management on employee relations, performance issues, and policy interpretation

• Maintain HRIS and personnel files in accordance with state and federal guidelines

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and healthcare-specific regulatory requirements

• Lead training and development initiatives for staff and supervisors

• Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and engagement strategies

• Conduct investigations, mediate conflicts, and uphold a positive workplace culture
