How You'll Spend Your Day Set up and operate CNC vertical, horizontal, and milling machines. Perform CNC programming using G‑code and make program edits as needed. Utilize Mazak conversational programming (if applicable). Set up jobs including tooling, fixtures, and offsets (touch-offs). Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and specialty gauges. Program and setup jobs using CAM software (Edgecam specifically).
