RN Infusion Nurse

We are looking for an RN ready to provide weekly & monthly infusion in the locations below. Infusions pay $77/up to 2 hours for a single visit. Available Shifts: * 10am-2pm - Mequon (every 4-6 weeks) Currently on Mondays * 1:30pm-2:30pm - Beaver Dam (every 4 weeks) Currently on Mondays * 9:30am-11:30am - Grafton (2 times a month) Currently on Wednesdays * 11:30am-1:30pm - West Bend (every 4 weeks) Currently on Wednesdays * 2:30pm-3:30pm - Iron Ridge (1x every other month) Currently on Wednesdays Are you looking for a job where you can make a difference in people’s lives? We strive to provide best-in-class benefits packages, including: * Paid Training * Employee recognition program where earned stars may be redeemed for gift cards * Joint Commission accredited * We offer flexible work schedules on a variety of assignments, procedures, and treatments * Part of a team with Director of Nursing Oversight * Employee referral bonus * Travel time reimbursement * Weekly pay * Flexible schedule (make your own standard schedule- as many or as few hours as you desire) * We promote from within * Home Care Pulse Employer of Choice * Variety of in-home and assisted living assignments, procedures, and treatments * Mobile time tracking and care notes, employees can easily clock in and out for work right from a mobile device Responsibilities * Provides care as defined within the scope of the state’s Nurse Practice Act using sound judgment and critical thinking. * If directed by the Director of Nursing, makes the initial evaluation visit and regularly reevaluates the client’s nursing needs. * Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions, keeping the Director of Nursing updated on the revisions. * Provides those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill. * Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. * Prepares clinical and progress notes and summaries of care. * Informs the Director of Nursing, physician and other personnel of changes in the client’s condition and needs. * Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs. * Assists in the development of organization goals. Administers agency policies and procedures. * Assists the Director of Nursing with assessing the competency of clinical staff to promote quality, continuity and safety of a client’s care. * Supervises, educates and coaches other nursing personnel, as directed by the Director of Nursing. * Provides information to be used for statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities. * Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws. * Assures compliance with all local, state and federal laws * Identifies and participates in agency performance improvement activities. * Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care. Shares information with appropriate organization personnel. * Promotes home health referrals in the health care community. * Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, hoyer lift, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, linen changes, and light housekeeping. Requirements: * Registered nurse with current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in Wisconsin. * Current Peripheral IV starts/maintenance & IV Infusion Therapy Injection and self-infusion training Phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients * Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience preferred * Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills * Comply with accepted professional standards of practice. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Strong clinical skills. * Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, staff and community. * Treat clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image. * Case management skills are a plus * Licensed driver with reliable transportation * Auto insurance in accordance with the organization’s requirements if transporting clients * Ensures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information (HIPAA) * Ability to work on weekends, nights and holidays is a plus * Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively * Understands regulatory compliance a) State requirement for the franchise location b) Federal regulations including but not limited to OSHA, HIPAA * Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
