Vacuum Truck Driver

Vacuum Castor Our customer in Montgomery, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. Were recruiting Vacuum Castors to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Vacuum Castor, you will be responsible for performing casting operations using vacuum and related equipment, ensuring quality and safety throughout the process. Responsibilities of the Vacuum Castor: Perform duties to coat, assemble, and pour into simple molds under supervision and following demonstrations or instructions. Assist in vacuum casting operations and work with higher-level casters during more complex casting processes. Check melt temperature, skim and clear the surface, dip and pour the specified amount of molten metal into molds. Operate die opening machines, separate and remove cast parts, and inspect for quality. Clean crucibles and furnaces; report equipment malfunctions, material issues, and unusual conditions. Maintain a clean and organized work area; may assist with handling large parts and operate power trucks as needed. Requirements and Qualifications: Willingness to train; no prior casting experience required. Ability to follow verbal instructions, demonstrations, and safety procedures. Comfortable working around hot materials and heavy machinery in a manufacturing environment. Ability to wear steel-toed shoes and other required protective equipment. Physically able to lift, move, and handle materials using hoists, ladles, and other casting tools. Strong attention to detail with the ability to report issues clearly and work effectively in a team setting. Pay for Vacuum Castor: Starting at $22/hour. Benefits: Health insurance.
