This contract opportunity is designed for individuals dedicated to enhancing communication skills and fostering student success. Serving multiple school locations in the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas, you’ll play a vital role in helping students achieve their goals throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Speech-Language or a closely related field is required
• No SLPA license is required for Virginia; candidates must have the educational background in speech or communication disorders
• Experience in a school setting or working with children/adolescents is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language services to students according to individualized plans
• Support assessment, intervention, and documentation for a diverse student population
• Work directly with students both individually and in groups, reinforcing targeted strategies and activities
• Track and report student progress, adapting approaches as needed under the guidance of supervising clinicians
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families to ensure continuity of care

Assignment Details:

• Contract runs from August 24th, 2026 through June 11th, 2027
• Commitment of 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day during the school year
• Opportunities to work across several schools in Prince William County’s Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas
