Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position is based near Warren, MI, with immediate openings and the possibility for contract renewal based on performance. You’ll work full-time, supporting students in grades 9-12, primarily within ELA and Math classes, fostering inclusive and engaging experiences for all learners.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Special Education (SPED) teaching certification (required)
- Experience in a co-teaching environment, preferably within ELA and Math classrooms
- Familiarity with managing IEP caseloads (up to 23 students)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management abilities
- Passion for working with diverse student populations in a high school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction to meet the needs of students with IEPs
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers in ELA and Math for effective co-teaching
- Case manage and monitor IEP compliance and progress, maintaining accurate documentation
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
- Create a positive, structured environment supportive of student growth and achievement
