Work Environment

The work setting is fully remote, allowing our therapists to utilize telehealth platforms that enhance accessibility for our clients. Our outpatient office environment emphasizes a balance between work-life integration and productivity, allowing you to manage your time while delivering essential therapy services. The schedule typically runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, helping to foster a structured yet flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments, utilizing standardized tools and methodologies to gather necessary insights.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and align with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Provide therapy services in various formats, including individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, adapting interventions based on the specific needs of the client.
  • Engage in case consultations with fellow therapists and attend regular supervision meetings to continually improve practice and effectiveness.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to the highest ethical standards of practice in all interactions.
  • Utilize telehealth technologies effectively to ensure continuity of care, especially for those unable to attend in-person sessions.
  • Document client progress and treatment outcomes meticulously, contributing to an ongoing evaluation process of therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Therapists at Best Life Therapy work to create a safe and welcoming environment for all clients, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, feels supported and understood. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their personal histories, familial dynamics, and relationship hurdles.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • An active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Oregon is mandatory.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in mental health care with a focus on client treatment planning and therapy.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in delivering therapeutic services in virtual environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family systems therapy.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and addressing a variety of mental health issues, as well as exposure to crisis intervention techniques.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and maintaining engagement in a virtual setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually along with comprehensive benefits, including:
