Customer Service Associate
The Customer Service Associate supports a specific on-site program by performing a blend of data entry, shipping coordination, and basic administrative tasks. This role focuses on accurately processing information, preparing and labeling boxes for shipment, and helping to resolve day-to-day and escalated service issues. The position is full-time, on-site, and initially structured as a 90-day assignment with the possibility of extension and conversion to a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate data entry into shipping and tracking systems, ensuring all information is complete and correct.
- Create tags from provided information, print and attach labels to boxes, and ensure each item is properly identified.
- Sort and organize boxes according to established processes to support efficient shipping and handling.
- Prepare shipping requests and generate shipping labels using the designated shipping program.
- Review and decipher international addresses to ensure shipments are correctly routed.
- Support the resolution of day-to-day and escalated issues by accurately processing tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Maintain focus throughout the workday and manage a consistent workload with attention to detail and quality.
- Handle physical tasks that may include moving boxes and materials, potentially weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Collaborate with on-site supervisors as needed to clarify tasks, follow procedures, and meet program requirements.
- Follow all on-site policies, procedures, and safety guidelines while working at the assigned workstation.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to maintain concentration and stay focused throughout a full workday.
- Basic computer skills, including comfort with data entry and navigating simple software interfaces.
- Ability to learn and use a shipping program for entering data and generating shipping labels.
- Capability to accurately decipher and process international addresses.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure labels, tags, and shipping information are accurate.
- Reliability in showing up on time and consistently completing assigned tasks.
- Ability to perform physical tasks that may require moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Comfort with administrator and clerical support tasks in a customer service-oriented environment.
- Experience in data entry or shipping/receiving environments is helpful.
- Ability to work independently at a workstation while taking direction from on-site supervisors.
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes through on-the-job training.
- Experience screening completed through the specified provider, as required by the client's standard process.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time, on-site position based at a corporate campus location. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a half-hour lunch, with some flexibility as needed. You will work at an individual workstation in a one-person role, with supervisors available on site for support and guidance. The environment involves frequent computer use for data entry and use of a shipping program, as well as handling and organizing physical boxes and materials. Some tasks may require moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. The setting is a professional office and operations environment where standard, neat, and practical attire suitable for an on-site corporate workplace is expected.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
