Status : Full Time Regular Shift: DAY SHIFT Department: OP Infusion Position Summary Summary: The Medical Receptionist is responsible for providing scheduling and office support to service providers and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care. Qualifications Responsibilities: Education Required

• Must complete in-house orientation program
• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience And Skills

• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Minimum one- three year(s) in customer service or reception in a health care environment.
• Working knowledge of insurance and pre-certification process.
• Medical Terminology required.
• Working knowledge of standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers and telephones.

License/Certifications Working Conditions Other information: Working Conditions

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
• Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day, walking or standing the remainder.
• Handling telephones, computers, bending and lifting.
