Full Charge Bookkeeper

We're a family-owned Home Instead franchise with seven home care offices around Indiana. Our bookkeeper is leaving and we need someone to take over the books. Most of the week is home care: moving invoices out of WellSky into QuickBooks, applying payments from private pay and state funded clients, bank and credit card recs, AP, and the monthly close with a P&L and balance sheet for each office. You'd also keep the books for two other companies the family owns. One is a wholesale lumber yard, where you'd run AP through Bill.com and build the monthly borrowing base for the bank, plus about a day a month on site. The other is a three-location drive-through coffee franchise, which is daily sales entries and three bank recs. What we need: 2+ years of full cycle bookkeeping QuickBooks Online and solid Excel You can produce a clean balance sheet and P&L You say something when a number looks wrong instead of working around it Helpful but not required: Medicaid or VA remittances, borrowing base certificates, multi-entity work, Bill.com.
