Job Description\n GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2354.92\n \n Opportunity:\n RN - PICU\n Job Details:\n • Pediatric Critical Care unit with a patient ratio of 2:1 on days, nights, and weekends\n • Every other weekend required\n • Float required to NICU or units within skill set with orientation provided\n • May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility\n • Minimum 2 years of experience required\n • At least 1 year of PICU experience required\n • Previous charge experience preferred\n • First-time travelers accepted with required experience\n • Epic charting system experience preferred\n • Patient age groups include infants, pediatrics, and adolescents\n • Must be comfortable with the following patient diagnoses and procedures: Critical Care, ENT, General Surgery, Ortho, Post-Op/Pre-Op\n • Required skills include: Breathing Treatments, Chest Tube Set-up/Care, CPAP/BiPAP, High Frequency Vents, Oscillators, Procedure Sedation, RSI - Rapid Sequence Intubation Drugs, Trach Care, Vents, Blood/Blood Products Administration, CVP, 12 Lead EKG, Drains, Epidural Pumps, PCA Pumps, PICC/Central Lines, Port-A-Cath/Vascular Device Access/Care, Syringe Pumps, Traction/Halo/Pin Care, Triple Lumen Catheter, and Wound Vac\n • Required certifications: BLS, PALS\n • Preferred certifications: NRP, CRRT\n • Compact license must be in hand at time of submission\n • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day\n • Must request all RTO and specific scheduling requests upfront during submittal\n • 24-hour orientation provided\n Facility:\n This facility is part of a larger health system offering comprehensive pediatric critical care services. The PICU unit consists of 6 beds with a daily census of 2-4 patients. The unit is supported by an interdisciplinary team including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary services, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced environment for both patients and clinical staff.\n Location:\n Renton, WA\n Renton, Washington offers a vibrant Pacific Northwest lifestyle with easy access to the stunning natural beauty of the region, including nearby mountains, lakes, and forests.
